为什么“令人不安的”是“unsettling”而不是“unsettled”?
unsettling一般是指什么事情让人不安,unsettled表示某人自己感觉不安。就比如最常见的interesting,后面一定会加上代表某种事物的名词,interesting story 有趣的故事。但是如果谈到人对某种东西感兴趣就要用interested,而且还有个固定搭配,be interested in。在英语当中,这样的单词挺多的,relaxed(人)––relaxing(物),worried(人)––worrying(物)。

都可以,但意思还是有所区别的
with so many problems unsettled 有这么多问题还没有被解决(此处unsettled 是过去分词作补足语,表示“被动或完成”)
with so many problems to settle有这么多问题要解决(此处to settle 是动词不定式作补足语,表“将要,以后”
